The national computer institute is institute which is learnt computers and how they work which is really phonetic or international education that, makes easy almost to what is called " social service" like companies, agencies, schools, hospitals, families and e.t.c. by using the computers into various systems, like forming the firm accounts and closing entry, using the internal and external communication and visual.

Nci was established in 1995, and was opened at first time to bay region named "Baydhabo" after 6months, the institute was transferred from by to Mogadishu city for the sake of civil war took place there.

The lhigh center of the institute is located in the big market named " Bakara" and it is at the side of the north according to Olympic building. Even the institute has other branches, and that branches locates in the city and part of the regions in the country.
One of that branches locate in the center of imaamu-shaafici.

The institute had still performed 413 classes and graduated 4800 students at that period, and 1500 students were certified by the institute, the reason that others didn't take certificate was that financial problem and un employment exists in the country.
